• Ford EcoBoost 1.0 3-cylinder has a known coolant-into-cylinder issue. Degas bottle (coolant tank) drops level without visible leak. Ford redesigned the block after 2018. CHECK coolant level trend. If dropping, budget €1,500-3,000 for repair (may need new block).
• Vehicle is 15+ years old. Age-related issues: rubber seals/hoses degrade, electrical connectors corrode, suspension bushings wear. Not specific to any engine, but expect €500-1,500/year in age-related maintenance beyond normal service items.
